Sitting on the shores of Winchelsea Beach is Cloudbreak – a new contemporary build, with stunning views of the sea and easy access to the beach that is directly on the doorstep of this modern property, built beside the bike path and walkway along the beach. It is a short drive from the medieval town of Rye with all its history – Cloudbreak is perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area.

Inside the property

Turning the house upside down, it benefits from the spectacular views of the beach – the open plan living allows its guests to fully relax in sumptuous luxury. Attention to detail, top notch kitchen facilities and stylish furniture encourages our guests to fully enjoy seaside living. The sitting room boasts a 65″ smart TV with a Sonos soundbar to maximise alternate viewing, if required! Off the kitchen, sits a tiny snug, an escape from the day, with a 55″ smart TV with PlayStation4, and a vast library of DVDs.

For the chef, the kitchen is beyond well equipped to knock out a perfect meal; with a Neff double oven, Neff induction hob, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine – top of the range saucepans and baking equipment it is a delight to cook in – nearly as good as the view! The balcony stretches the length of the property, floor to ceiling sliding doors allow the outside in and you can watch the world go by!

Sleeping Arrangements

The sound of the sea always encourages a peaceful nights rest – the master bedroom on the middle floor overlooks the sea, with a superking bed, dressed with 600 thread count linen, styled in muted colours, a dressing room leads onto the ensuite shower room. With curtains and  sheers for privacy, the bedroom is an oasis of calm.

There are two further bedrooms, both with king beds, one has and ensuite shower room and the family bathroom with bath/shower sits between the bedrooms. All beautifully furnished for your complete comfort.

Entering Cloudbreak on the ground floor, there is a garage that is fully insulated and houses the games room – with full size table tennis table, and perfect place to store bikes, surfboards etc. Another fridge freezer is housed in the garage so that you can keep a well stocked supply! The hallway has a large cupboard to hang your coats. Beyond the stair case is another snug room, an escape for teenagers, next a utility room with shower and loo together with Bosch Washing machine and dryer. The snug also leads out onto the enclosed sunken courtyard – with BBQ and outdoor seating via a glass french door. The large sofa bed that can accommodate two extra guests – once the bed is down, access to the bathroom is compromised.

Staying at Cloudbreak you get to experience the best of the south coast, set between Rye and Hastings, flanked by Rye Nature Reserve and Fairlight Firehills County Park with its stunning walk into Hastings – you can certainly work up an appetite – luckily Rick Stein hero, Jamie Wickens can provide you with all your culinary meaty (and a few non meaty) needs – is only a minute from the house.
